Frequently asked questions
I registered for a class, now what?
You will receive a confirmation email immediately after checkout with your downloadable ticket. You will then receive a series of emails beginning week prior to the scheduled class which contain detailed instructions and the downloadable class handbook.
24 hours prior to the class you will receive a reminder email with a link to the virtual classroom. Another reminder email will go out 1 hour prior to the class start time as well.
The virtual classroom opens 10 minutes before the scheded class start time.
DO I HAVE TO DOWNLOAD AN APP OR SOFTWARE TO PARTICIPATE?
No, our advanced technology is 100% browser based, no additional software required
should i cook along with the instructor?
For the best experience, we recommend NOT cooking along with the instructor, this will allow you to focus, take notes, ask questions and not be distracted, however if you are planning to cook with the instructor, remember:
Have your ingredients out, measured, and ready to go (as is safe)
Have all your tools and equipment set up and on hand as needed.
Have your screen high enough to work as you watch
Print out the recipes, ingredient list, and equipment list (optional but recommended)
Make dough ahead of time as outlined in the course guide (be sure to check your timeline)
will i be able to ask questions during the class?
Absolutly, you will be able to ask questions in the Classroom chat, and the producer will do his best to direct the questions to the instructor. However, we may not be able to answer all the questions, depending on time. All questions that we do not have time to address will be answered in a followup email a few days after the class.
what time should i be ready for the class?
We ask that you be in the virtual classroom at least 10 minutes before the class starts.
will i receive an ingredient list prior to class?
You will receive an email a few days prior to the class with a link to the downloadable class handbook which contains the recipes, ingredient lists and processes that we'll be covering in class.
will i be able to watch a recording of the class later?
Yes, a few days after the class concluded, you will receive an email with a secure link to the class recording along with a password. Access to the class recording is available for 30 days after the date of the class!
